Mi Cuna Stays began with a simple dream: to create a place where travelers feel truly at home. Founded by Rafa and Mady, it grew from a shared love of Curaçao’s beauty, culture, and the joy of meaningful connection.
What started as a single cozy apartment blossomed into a collection of soulful villas and apartments in Jan Thiel and Pietermaai—each space designed with care, creativity, and a deep respect for the island’s spirit. From DIY touches to immersive experiences, Mi Cuna is a reflection of our journey, our values, and the people who’ve become part of our story.
Our team

At Mi Cuna Stays, our team is small but mighty—and full of soul. Led by founders Rafa and Mady, we bring a personal touch to every guest experience, from thoughtful design to heartfelt hosting.
But the real stars of the show? Meet Noche and Buena, our two spirited Jack Russells. Whether they’re greeting guests with tail wags or lounging in the garden, they add joy, warmth, and a touch of mischief to Mi Cuna life. Noche is the curious explorer, always sniffing out new adventures, while Buena is the gentle guardian, happiest curled up in a sunny spot.
